Camston Wrather is a pioneering science and engineering firm that specializes in extracting valuable resources from electronic waste through cutting-edge Green Tech. Our expertise lies in the recovery of sustainable materials like precious metals and polymers. Beyond Waste is at the core of our mission. We’ve created a next-generation recycling center that can reuse and reclaim polymers from Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), which will stabilize manufacturers' supply chains through domestic sourcing.
In the early days, friends Mark Evans and Aaron Kamenash embarked on a mission to reclaim abandoned mines in California, facing challenges like scorching heat and encounters with wildlife. Amidst these trials, an innovative idea emerged. Aaron proposed the concept of urban mining, focusing on e-waste, particularly printed circuit boards.
Transitioning from the mining field to a new base – Mark's expansive garage – the duo delved into a meticulous journey of trial and error. Armed with coffee grinders to shred circuit board pieces, they soon realized the magnitude of materials they needed. Through perseverance, they crafted a process that successfully liberated precious metals from electronic devices.
As the years unfolded, Camston Wrather evolved into a thriving enterprise, showcasing the resilience and ingenuity that shaped its inception, making it the successful company it is today.
Dirk Wray serves as the Chairman and CEO of Camston Wrather and has been actively involved in developing Camston since 2017. He has over 40 years of commercial experience and has successfully managed the scaled growth of several technology companies.
Aaron Co-Founded Camston Wrather in 2014. It was his vision and engineering work that shaped the innovative solution that Camston has brought to market. Aaron studied Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering at Penn State University.

Ashley has been actively involved with developing the Company since 2017. Since that time, she has driven the Company’s cash management and bank reporting. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Riverside.
Renee has previously served as the head of Worldwide Recycling for Apple and HP. She participates in a number of industry organizations and is currently on the Board of Directors of Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI).
Mr. Price has 25 years of global experience in the recycling industry. He previously spent 17 years at Sims Recycling Solutions then went on to become President at Synergy Electronics Recycling.
